Optimization of steel beams with external pretension, considering the environmental and financial impact

چکیده

With the advancement technology for reinforced concrete structures, it becomes increasingly feasible to use this steel structures. The objective of work is present formulation optimization problem beams with external pretension straight or polygonal tracing cables, considering environmental and economic impacts. For function formulation, minimization CO2 emission cost in design structure were considered. As constraints established states limits imposed by ABNT NBR 8800:2008. program was developed within MATLAB Platform (MATLAB®. Guia do usuário R2016a (2016) Math Works Inc) solution obtained through native genetic algorithms method. Routine validation performed using examples found literature an analysis predominant collapse modes performed. results indicate that monosymmetric profiles have gains when comes reducing emissions compared doubly symmetrical profiles, addition observed cables generate better values cables.
